Lighting up the year ahead!
It is that time of year when with the days getting longer and the dark evenings are leaving us behind that we want to introduce a little bit of light into our lives.
And what better way than to search out innovative ways of lighting up our spaces.
Harris Jackson are looking forward to the pleasure of collaborating on an innovative new venture with Alexander Joseph Lighting. This Dorset based luxury brand have developed an exclusive range of decorative cordless table lamps designed & manufactured 100% within the UK. With a background in developing new products, Alexander Joseph have definitely found a niche in the luxury interiors market.
The stunning collection includes the hand-blown glass “Highclere” named after the castle which sits imposingly atop a table with various options in colours of glass, base and shade. Here you can see the piano black base, with charcoal body & dusky grey shade. Their beautiful products comprise stunning glass and ceramic bodies with metallic trimming& elements. Each lamp floats seamlessly above the surface it resides on with no ugly cords or wires to diminish the effect. Perfection personified!
The Windsor with its voluptuous oversized body sits etherally on either a polished silver coloured or brass base. The example here shows the Amber glass body sitting atop of a crafted Brass base with matching Brass fittings teamed with a mustard coloured silk Drum shade .
While the teardrop shaped Blenheim, as timeless as its namesake palace, this lamp comes with a Brass base, hand crafted Olive glass body and off white hand made silk drum shade.
The beauty of the Alexander Joseph collection is that not only can one consider using them in the home, but they are ideally suited to life on the Ocean wave. The wireless nature of the product allows them to sit perfectly in a yachting environment aboard luxury yachts both while berthed or at anchor. All designs can be used without the need for power for up to 50 hours and can then be charged while the vessel is moving. Voila!
Another option for the boutique hotelier is to include these lamps in their public spaces. The last thing one wants to see in a chic lobby lounge are wires hanging down behind consoles ready for some poor soul to trip over. The Alexander Joseph collection allows for a seamless positioning of a handmade British classic.
