Behind the scenes of our rebrand

Like many businesses, Harris Jackson has undergone some dramatic changes during the last year to adapt to the new world we all find ourselves in. Once offering multiple services to a wide audience, we have evolved to offer a more bespoke and streamline service to clients, with a strong focus on creating emotional experiences for our customers and end users.

So what has the rebrand involved and what can clients expect? Creative Director, Samantha Crockett, explains:

“This rebrand is a pivotal moment for us and goes beyond a fresh look and feel; it really encapsulates the concept of ‘a world of design at your fingertips’ and where we’re going as a business, getting to the heart of what matters most to our clients.

We have two distinct arms to the business; working with boutique hoteliers to elevate guest experiences and working with property developers to market new homes and design lifestyles. We wanted something that would reflect this and our passion for stand-out interiors that bring spaces to life.”

The rebrand includes a refined logo and typeface as well as a more classic colour palette, moving from bright blues and indigos to platinum greys to showcase the premium and bespoke boutique offer. Alongside this there will be a new website, videos and content strategy across social media that aims to add value to both hoteliers and property developers’ marketing campaigns:

“We recognise that selling a home or marketing a unique stay in a hotel is about so much more than just a one-off experience, which is why we’re focused on helping our clients create memories that will last with people for a lifetime. Great interior design has the power to do just that, and we’ll be sharing insights about that across our social media channels. From informative data-driven blog posts to insider tips, our clients will be able to find a whole host of information that can help boost their marketing.”

With such a shift in the industry this year, many might be wondering why now for a rebrand? Samantha says it is perfect timing: “This past year has impacted many industries, and we’ve seen a real impact on the hospitality sector. As we might be facing another summer of staycations it’s more crucial than ever for hoteliers to come back fighting and showcase just how magnificent this country is as a holiday destination; from the Brazil-like beaches of Devon and Cornwall to the glorious countryside all around, people really don’t have to travel far and hoteliers will need to continue to push this message this year. I truly believe we can turn this sector around and I want to help do that and create environments and experiences that impact people on an emotional level.

This year we have also started working with more property developers on show homes and marketing suites. I think we are going to see a real shift in how we all use our homes; home is now our world and with all of us spending more and more time within our own four walls there’s never been a more pertinent time to help design home experiences that make a lasting impact. From garden studios and kitchen study rooms to cinematic snugs and spare-room gyms, it is crucial that developers use interiors to inspire homeowners to get creative with their space. It’s certainly been a challenging time but luckily for our clients, we relish a challenge.”
