The Process

Working Together

Working with Harris Jackson is simple.  Typically you can expect to work with us in the following way:
1.    Meeting and Understanding You, the Client.

We want to know your personality and requirements as well as possible in order to get the best results from our collaborative design project. Your ideas and tastes are essential, so we’ll come and meet you at your property and talk about what we can offer.

2.    A Written Proposal

Following our meeting and visit to the property, Harris Jackson Design will send you a written proposal suggesting timelines, budgets and services for the project ahead.
We can recommend architects and building contractors as well as assist with planning permission and any other necessary documentation at this stage.

3.    Concept Design

You’ll work with us to produce a detailed brief, and we’ll take any final measurements and drawings of your property.

4.    Design Development

Once the concept has been approved, we move onto design development where we develop ideas into the 3-dimensional space. This is done through plans and elevations along with 3-dimensional renderings if your budget allows for this.

Harris Jackson will then present you with material boards and furniture and lighting selections, clearly laid out in a PowerPoint presentation format.

5.     Managing the Project

Co-ordination is essential and we will create a schedule of works which allows us to oversee anyone who is playing a part in your interior design project. On-site visits and constant communication are essential, and we are pleased to do this on your behalf.

6.    Styling and Final Touches to Completion

We will be there to support you right to the end of your project, including the final touches of artwork and accessory placement, as well as lighting for photographs. The sense of achievement we feel when our clients see their finished designs is so rewarding, we are pleased to see the project through to completion.
